Capitol Aluminum & Glass offers Integral Miniblinds with an aluminum Blind Access Panel, providing a sophisticated and convenient solution for light and privacy management within Capitol window, storefront, and curtain wall systems.

These integrated 5/8" horizontal mini-blinds are housed within a dedicated interior extruded aluminum blind sash frame, positioned between the insulated glass unit and the room-side blind sash cover.

Design & Operation:

Miniblinds are easily operated via a standard tilt control mechanism. They are accessible for custodial maintenance using two Capitol BSOT tools, ensuring long-term functionality and ease of care. These miniblinds feature 5/8" head-rail, slats, and bottom-rail made of .006" thick slats. They are finished with an organic primer and baked enamel, ensuring exceptional durability against humidity and salt spray. Standard miniblind operators include the Blind Knob and Removable Key.

Capitol Blind Sash System:

Capitol's hinged, non-lift off type blind sash system consists of extruded aluminum and 1/4" clear tempered glass, with a perimeter T-slot foam seal for an airtight fit. The blind operator mechanism is designed to hold and tilt slats and is mechanically actuated using a positive gear drive system, avoiding magnetic or string type actuators.

This system is installed on the interior side of Capitol window, storefront, or curtain wall framed units. Maintenance accessible using (2) Capitol blind sash operating tools (BSOT) to engage latch pins. Blinds are available in standard and inverted orientations.
