Construction Worker (Window/Door Installer)
The primary duty of this position includes installation of aluminum window, door, curtain wall, storefront, and insulated glass units. Use of hand and power tools is essential to this job.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in Building Construction and/or as a Glazier
- Read blueprints
- Measure accurately
- Work safely at consistent heights of 1-3 stories
- Valid Driver's License - with limited points as required by insurance company
- Clear criminal history, background checks and drug testing - required by State of Ohio
- Ability to lift weights minimum 50 pounds frequently during work shift
- Travel to jobsites throughout the State of Ohio, typically Monday – Thursday
- Background in construction trades, including laborers, encouraged to apply
Benefits:
Pay range $15-23/hour, depending on experience and skill level; benefits include Health Insurance, Dental & Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k)/Profit Sharing Pension, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, & Voluntary Disability and Life Insurance benefits.
Fabricator Position (General Factory)
Capitol Aluminum & Glass Corp. is seeking a dedicated, self-motivated fabricator for our manufacturing plant. Job shop environment with full-time positions available. Capitol delivers a total project resource to our customers by providing high quality, energy efficient aluminum building products and solutions based services.
The primary duties of this position include measuring, cutting, machining, and assembly of aluminum extrusions. Ability to read and understand blueprints, cut sheets, and accessory sheets are essential to this job. The ideal candidate would reside in the local area.
Qualifications and Essential Job Duties:
- Operating equipment, such as drill presses, milling machines, power cutoff saws, and various hand and power tools
- Precise measuring skills and ability to count and reason accurately
- Regular, consistent attendance
Job Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED;
- Knowledge of layout and design of construction related products helpful.
- Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds frequently during work shift
- Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Welding and blueprint fabrication
- Any type of machine shop, metal working, or wood working skills
- Construction experience or classes, including carpentry
- Window or door installation (commercial or residential)
